This study tested job satisfaction has a reciprocal relationship with family satisfaction. Itshows that work and family life are two things that can not be separated within anorganization.The population in this study is one of the units government institution in the city ofSemarang, as many as 123 people. Therefore, using the census because its population is limited.The analysis using t test and bivariate with software SPSS. The results of this study are expectedto develop human resource management and decision-making inputs, especially to increase joband family satisfaction.Keywords: job satisfaction, family satisfaction, job stressor, work involvement
