Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak dalam hal pemahaman lambang bilangan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) berbantuan media papan pintar pada anak kelompok B1 Semester II TK Bayu Kumdhala Bubunan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan subjek sebanyak 12 orang. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan kognitif dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak dalam hal pemahaman lambang bilangan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) berbantuan media papan pintar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata persen perkembangan kognitif anak pada siklus I sebesar 61,89% yang berada pada kategori rendah, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81,53% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 19,65%. Kata Kunci : papan pintar, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, perkembangan kognitif The purpose of this research was to increase the children's cognitive development in terms of understanding the epitome of numbers after the implementation of cooperative learning model of Students Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) type by using smart boards media to the B1 group of children during the second semester in TK Bayu Kumdhala Bubunan in the academic year 2013/2014. This research was an action research that was conducted in two cycles and the subjects of this research are twelve students . The data of the research of cognitive development was obtained by using observation method. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method . The results of this study showed that there was increasing in cognitive development of children in terms of understanding the epitome of numbers by applying Cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) type by using smart board media. It can be seen by the average percent of children's cognitive development in the first cycle was 61.89 % which is exist in the low category. While in the second cycle, it increased to 81.53 % which is exist in the high category . It showed there was increasing from cycle I into the cycle II was 19.65 % .keyword : smart boards, cooperative learning model of STAD type, cognitive development
