<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok A semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Aisyiyah Singaraja setelah di terapkannya metode bermain outdoor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A semester II tahun ajaran 2014/2015 di TK Aisyiyah Singaraja dengan jumlah subjek 20 orang. Penelitian di lakukan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi yaitu metode analisis data statistik deskriptif dan metode statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata persentase kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal konsep bentuk, ukuran dan warna pada anak setelah penerapan metode bermain outdoor. Pada siklus I rata-rata persentase kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal konsep bentuk, ukuran dan warna pada anak adalah 68,00% yang berada pada kriteria sedang dan pada siklus II rata-rata persentase kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal konsep bentuk, ukuran dan warna pada anak menjadi 84,6 % yang berada pada kriteria tinggi. Jadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal konsep bentuk, ukuran dan warna pada anak dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 16,00%.Kata Kunci : metode bermain outdoor, kemampuan kognitif This study aims to determine the cognitive abilities improvement of children "A" group in second semester of the academic year 2014/2015 which located in Aisyiya Kindergarten Singaraja.The method of outdoor play was applied in the kindergarten. Thiresearch was a classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were childrenin group A the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015 in kindergarten Aisyiyah Singaraja with a number of subjects 20 people. The research was conducted in two cycles namely cycle I and cycle II. The data collection in this research was used observation method and data analysis methods were used descriptive statistics analysis and quantitative descpriptive statistic methods. From the data analysis was shows that the average percentage of cognitive abilities was increased in recognizing the concept of shapes, sizes and colors in children after method of outdoor play was applied to the subjects. In the first cycle the average percentage of cognitive abilities in recognizing the concept of shapes, sizes and colors in children is 68.00% which catagorized by middle criteria and the second cycle the average percentage of cognitive abilities in recognizing the concept of shape, size and color of the child to be 84.6% which categorized by high criteria. So an increase in cognitive abilities in recognizing the concept of shapes, sizes and colors in children from the first cycle to the second cycle of 16.00%. keyword : outdoor play method, cognitive ability]]>
