<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan empati anak dengan menerapkan metode bercerita berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Widya Kumarasthana tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 pada semester II yang berjumlah 20 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik analisis destriptif. Hasil analisis data pra-siklus menunjukkan rata-rata presentase kemampuan empati anak sebesar 59,37%. Pada siklus I kemampuan empati anak meningkat menjadi 75,83% yang berada pada kategori sedang, setelah dilanjutkan dengan perbaikan penerapan metode bercerita berbasis kearifan lokal di siklus II, kemampuan empati anak meningkat lagi menjadi 81,66% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode bercerita berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan empati anak kelompok B1 TK Widya Kumarasthana Banyuning.Kata Kunci : metode bercerita berbasis kearifan lokal, empati anak This study aims to determine the increase empathy child by applying local wisdom-based story-telling method. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which was conducted over two cycles. Subjects in this study were children in group B1 Widya Kumarasthana kindergarten school year 2015/2016 in the second half of 20 people. Data collection methods used in this research is the method of observation with instruments such as observation sheet. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and analysis techniques destriptif. The results of the pre-cycle analysis of the data shows the average percentage of children's capacity for empathy by 59.37%. In the first cycle of empathy abilities of children increased to 75.83%, which is in the category, after then revising the application of story-telling method based on local wisdom in the second cycle, the ability of empathy of children increased to 81.66%, which is in the high category.
