Abstract

Titanium memiliki sifat yang baik dalam menahan korosi. Selain menahan karat, sifat titanium ini cukup lentur hingga mampu menahan benturan dari permukaan yang bergelombang sehingga jadi kenyamanan sendiri bagisi pengendara sepeda. Berbeda dengan material besi, pada material besi rentan korosi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif, penelitian komparatif bertujuan untuk membandingkan antar 2 penelitian yaitu penelitian sebelumnya dengan penelitian yang sedang dijalankan. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka didapatkan beberapa kesimpulan, antara lain material titanium memiliki massa jenis yang lebih kecil daripada material HK-40 yang digunakan pada penelitian sebelumnya, material titanium memiliki massa frame yang lebih kecil daripada material HK-40 yang digunakan pada penelitian sebelumnya, daya yang terbuang pada material titanium tidak sebesar pada material HK-40.Kata kunci: Titanium, Material, EfisienTitanium has good properties in resisting corrosion. In addition to resisting rust, this titanium sulfate is flexible enough to be able to withstand surfaces that create a ride to create its own comfort for the bike. Unlike iron material, iron material is susceptible to corrosion. This research is a type of quantitative research with a comparative method, comparative research aims to compare two previous studies with the current research. From the results of the research that has been carried out, several conclusions were obtained, including the density of titanium material which is smaller than the HK-40 material used in previous studies, titanium material has a smaller frame mass than the HK-40 material used in the study. Previously, the power wasted on titanium material was not as big as on HK-40 material.Keywords: Titanium, Material, Efficient
