STRATEGI POLITIK DAN KEMENANGAN GOLKAR DI SEMARANG PADA PEMILU 1971

The purpose of this study is (1) determine the development of Golkar in Semarang from year 1964 to 1971 (2) determine a winner Golkar in the 1971 election (3) know the Golkar political strategy for the elections. Historical method is the method used in this study. Based on the results of the study concluded that the establishment of Golkar motivated by political conflict caused by the disruption of the banned and the riots that occurred in Semarang. The solution to this conflict, the military establish a forum for groups that are not affiliated with a particular political Sekber name Golkar in 1964. In the 1971 election, Golkar Joint Secretariat for the first time became one of the candidates in the election In the 1971 election, Golkar Sekber investigators were able to gather from the city of Semarang. Political strategies used by Golkar to garner support voice over ABG Strip. Moreover, the theme of the campaign offered to give a new atmosphere in the world of politics. Keywords: Political Strategy, Golkar, elections, Semarang .  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui perkembangan Golkar di Semarang dari tahun 1964-1971 (2) mengetahui Golkar menjadi pemenang dalam pemilu 1971 (3) mengetahui strategi politik Golkar dalam menghadapi pemilu. Metode sejarah merupakan metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa berdirinya Golkar dilatar belakangi oleh konflik politik yang disebabkan oleh gangguan organisasi terlarang dan kerusuhan-kerusuhan yang terjadi di Semarang. Solusi untuk konflik ini, oleh pihak militer membentuk suatu wadah untuk golongan yang tidak berafiliasi pada politik tertentu dengan nama Sekber Golkar pada tahun 1964. Pada pemilu 1971, untuk pertama kalinya Sekber Golkar menjadi salah satu kandidat dalam pemilu Pada pemilu 1971, Sekber Golkar mampu mengumpulkan simpatisan dari masyarakat Kota Semarang. Strategi politik yang digunakan oleh Golkar untuk menghimpun dukungan suara melalui Jalur ABG. Selain itu, tema kampanye yang ditawarkan memberi suasana baru dalam dunia politik.
