Pengaruh Pengakuan Profesional dan Nilai Sosial terhadap Pemilihan Karir sebagai Akuntan Pendidik

Abstrak Pemilihan karir dari setiap individu merupakan pilihan krusial yang bisa mempengaruhi kesuksesan dari masing-masing orang. Proses pemilihan karir merupakan sebuah kewajiban mahasiswa pada akhir masa remaja dan memasuki usia yang lebih dewasa. Terdapat beberapa jenis pemilihan karir yang dapat digeluti oleh mahasiswa akuntansi yang telah mendapat gelar sarjana, yakni sebagai akuntan publik, akuntan perusahaan, akuntan pendidik dan akuntan pemerintahan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan karir tersebut berupa pengakuan professional dan nilai-nilai sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini melihat pengaruh pengakuan professional dan nilai sosial terhadap pemilihan karir sebagai akuntan pendidik. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Analisis ini diuji dengan SPSS Ver 26. Objek penelitian adalah PTS di Kota Makassar dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengakuan professional berpegaruh positif terhadap pemilihan karir sebagai akuntan pendidik dan nilai sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap pemilihan karir sebagai akuntan pendidik. Kata Kunci: Pengakuan Profesional; Nilai Sosial; Pemilihan Karir; Akuntan Pendidik AbstractThe career choice of each individual is a crucial choice that can affect the success of each person. The career selection process is a student's obligation at the end of adolescence and entering a more mature age. There are several types of career choices that accounting students who have earned a bachelor's degree can engage in, namely as public accountants, corporate accountants, educator accountants and government accountants. The factors that influence the choice of career is the form of professional recognition and social values. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of professional recognition and social values on career choice as an educator accountant. This research methodology uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. This analysis was tested with SPSS Ver 26. The object of this research is private universities in Makassar City with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that professional recognition has a positive effect on career choice as an educator accountant and social values have a positive effect on career choice as an educator accountant. Keywords: Professional recognition; social value; career choice; educator accountant
