Implementasi Model Waterfall pada Sistem E-Internship PT Petikemas Surabaya

Abstrak Pada era modern seperti saat ini teknologi dan komunikasi sangat dibutuhkan oleh setiap perusahaan ataupun instansi seperti di PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (PT TPS) bagian Dept. SDM PT TPS membutuhkan sebuah sistem untuk mengatasi kendala berupa banyaknya permintaan pemagang yang masuk. Karena kapasitas untuk setiap departemen yang dituju sesuai prodi mahasiswa terbatas menyebabkan overload. Sistem yang dimaksud yaitu Sistem Informasi Magang Online. Dalam pembuatan sistem tersebut dibutuhkan sebuat metode waterfall untuk membantu saat proses perancangan. Metode Waterfall memiliki proses tahapan yang berurutan dan sistematis mempermudah pengerjaan dalam pembuatan sistem. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan implementasi metode waterfall yang dilakukan pada Sistem Informasi Magang Online dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Magang Online bisa mempermudah Peserta Magang, Departemen SDM PT TPS dan Kepala Departemen PT TPS dalam melakukan persetujuan Magang serta dapat memonitoring kuota magang di setiap departemen. PT TPS HR requires a system to overcome obstacles in the form of many incoming intern requests. Because the capacity for each department that is targeted according to the student study program is limited, causing overload. The system in question is the Online Apprentice Information System. In making the system, a waterfall method is needed to help during the design process. The Waterfall method has a sequential and systematic process of stages making it easier to work on the system. Based on the results of the analysis and implementation of the waterfall method on the Online Apprentice Information System, it can be concluded that the Online Apprentice Information System can make it easier for Apprentices, the HR Department of PT TPS and the Head of the Department of PT TPS to approve Apprenticeships and can monitor internship quotas in each department. .
