L'existence du Personnage de Mark Hathaway dans le Roman Parce Que Je T'aime de Guillaume Musso : Étude Psychologie Existentielle de Rollo May

Abstract Self-existence is defined as a human being who is realized that he exists. There are many descriptions of the human psychological conditions associated with the existence of the self in literary works. One of the novels is the novel Because I love you by Guillaume Musso. This novel tells the story of a father and a psychologist named Mark Hathaway who is deeply saddened by the loss of his daughter. This study aims to identify and describe the existence of the character of Mark Hathaway who experienced highs and lows in the novel using Rollo May's theory of existential psychology. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and content analysis techniques to describe the psychological state of Mark Hathaway's character. The conclusion drawn from this study is that the character, Mark Hathaway who was originally being in the world experienced nonbeing due to the loss of his daughter. The state of nonbeing experienced by Mark is neurotic anxiety and guilt. Then Mark slowly rediscovered his self-awareness through psychotherapy in the form of hypnotherapy until he was at the stage of creative self-awareness. Extrait L’existence de soi est définie comme un être humain qui se rend compte qu'il existe. Il y a de nombreuses descriptions des conditions psychologiques humaines liées à l'existence de soi dans les œuvres littéraires. L'un des romans est le roman Parce que je t'aime de Guillaume Musso. Ce roman raconte l'histoire d'un père et un psychologue s’appelle Mark Hathaway qui est profondément attristé par la perte de sa fille. Cette étude vise à identifier et décrire l'existence du personnage de Mark Hathaway qui a connu des hauts et des bas dans le roman en utilisant la théorie de la psychologie existentielle de Rollo May. Cette étude utilise des méthode analytique descriptive et des techniques d'analyse du contenu pour décrire l'état psychologique du personnage de Mark Hathaway. La conclusion tirée de cette étude est que le personnage Mark Hathaway qui était à l'origine being in the world a connu nonbeing en raison de la perte de sa fille. L'état de nonbeing vécu par Mark est l'anxiété névrotique et la culpabilité. Ensuite, Mark a lentement redécouvert sa conscience de soi grâce à la psychothérapie sous forme d'hypnothérapie jusqu'à ce qu'il soit au stade de la conscience de soi créative.
