PERHITUNGAN NERACA MASSA PADA PROSES FRAKSINASI DI PT WILMAR NABATI INDONESIA GRESIK

Abstract

ABSTRAK Fraksinasi adalah suatu proses pemisahan trigliserida yang terdapat pada minyak kelapa sawit berdasarkan titik lelehnya. Fraksinasi bertujuan untuk memisahkan fraksi padat (stearin) dan fraksi cair (olein). Minyak yang difraksinasi beasal dari proses pemurnian (refinery). Tujuan dari perhitungan neraca massa proses fraksinasi adalah menentukan kualitas minyak yang dihasilkan. Dari proses fraksinasi dihasilkan minyak lokal berupa stearin sebesar 511,10 ton,   olein sebesar 2328,34 ton dan minyak spesial berupa stearin sebesar 1135,78 ton, olein sebesar 1703,66 ton.Kata kunci : neraca massa, fraksinasi, olein, stearinABSTRACTFractionation is a process of separation of triglycerides contained in palm oil by its melting point. Fractionation aims to separate the solid fraction (stearin) and liquid fraction (olein). Beasal fractionated oil from the refining process (refinery). The purpose of the mass balance calculation fractionation process is determining the quality of oil produced.
