Abstract

Jaringan Wireless sudah menjadi kebutuhan pokok di tiap gedung, kantor, pabrik, dan perusahan- perusahaan, salah satunya membuat pengguna fleksibel dalam memanfaatkan fasilitas jaringan wireless karena sangat mudah dalam proses instalasi. Tak tertinggal kampus IT STMIK-AMIK Jayannusa padang. Agar proses pemasangan jaringan wireless sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, yakni mendukung proses koneksi internet bisa berjalan lancar, selain lebar bandwith, juga dibutuhkan akses signal wireless yang mendukung di semua tempat, diharapkan dengan melakukan penelitian ini, di dapatkan lokasi-lokasi strategis tempat paling cocok untuk meletakkan akses point dengan pengujian memanfaatkan aplikasi wireless wizard. Wireless networking has become a staple in each building, offices, factories, and firms, one of which makes the user flexibility in the use of the facility because it is very easy wireless network installation process. Not left behind campus IT STMIK-AMIK Jayannusa desert. In order for the installation of a wireless network as expected, the Internet connection can support the process run smoothly, in addition to the wide bandwidth, is also needed to support access wireless signal all over the place, are expected to perform this research, in strategic locations get the most suitable place to place the access point by testing utilizing wireless application wizard.
