<![CDATA[Background : Nursing is a profession that serves humans and humanity. Purpose : The study found the relationship between interests and perceptions with the motivation to continue S1 Nursing. Methods : This research uses descriptive correlational and cross sectional approach. Sample : The sample in this study were 147 students who were taken based on inclusion criteria using a total sampling technique. The analysis used was bivariate and univariate analysis using the chi-square test. Results: The majority of nursing students were female as many as 109 students. Results : The majority of nursing students are women as many as 109 students (74.1%), the majority of interest in S1 Nursing is high interest as many as 89 students (61%), the majority of perceptions about S1 Nursing are high perceptions of 102 students (69%), and the majority of motivation continuing S1 Nursing as many as 79 students (54%). The results of statistical tests show that there is a significant relationship between interest and motivation to continue S1 Nursing p-value (0.000) < (0.05) and perception with motivation to continue S1 Nursing p-value (0.000) < (0.05). Conclusion : Interest and perception problems have a significant relationship with the motivation to continue S1 Nursing.
