And it was found that Joint and Several Liability was a form of risk mitigation in the Covid-19 pandemic era. This research has implications for increasing the scientific repertoire of risk management, especially the systemic risks faced by Islamic microfinance institutions, while the managerial implications of this research are to become a reference in managing BWM to become a healthy Islamic microfinance institution. From the results of this study, it is hoped that there will be further multi-case studies or quantitative methods to confirm the results of this study.
