Pengaruh Kompres Dingin Terhadap Nyeri Payudara pada Ibu Nifas

Problems that often arise during breastfeeding include swollen breasts and clogged milk ducts. The collection of milk in the mammary glands in the breast causes blockage of the mammary glands so that milk production is reduced and breast milk dams occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cold compresses on breast pain in postpartum mothers. This type of research is a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of all postpartum mothers in Cipeundeuy District, Subang Regency and the author's sampling is accidental sampling as many as 15 people. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. The results of statistical tests before and after Cold Compress were carried out with the Independent T-Test. It was known that with a p-value = 0.002 or less than 0.05 then Ho was rejected. These results indicate a significant difference between breast pain in postpartum women before and after being given a cold compress. Postpartum mothers who have felt the effect of cold compress on the level of breast pain so that the benefits can be obtained, namely the mother becomes comfortable and reduces pain due to breast pain. Abstrak: Masalah yang sering muncul pada masa menyusui diantaranya adalah payudara bengkak dan saluran susu tersumbat. Pengumpulan air susu di dalam kelenjar susu di payudara sehingga menyebabkan tersumbatnya kelenjar susu sehingga  pengeluaran ASI berkurang dan terjadi bendungan ASI.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompres Dingin Terhadap Nyeri Payudara Pada Ibu Nifas. Jenis penelitian adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest. Populasi seluruh ibu nifas yang ada di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy Kabupaten Subang dan pengambilan sampel yang penulis gunakan adalah accindal sampling sebanyak 15 orang. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil uji statistik sebelum dan sesudak dilakukan Kompres Dingin dengan uji Uji Independent T Test, diketahui bahwa dengan nilai p value = 0,002 atau kurang dari 0,05 (p kurang dari 0,05) maka Ho di tolak. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat   perbedaan bermakna antara Nyeri Payudara Pada Ibu Nifas sebelum dan sesudah diberikan Kompres Dingin. Ibu nifas yang telah merasakan pengaruh kompres dingin terhadap tingkat nyeri nyeri payudara sehingga dapat diperoleh manfaat yaitu ibu menjadi nyaman dan mengurangi rasa nyeri akibat nyeri payudara.
