Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and student activity in the matter of mathematical number patterns through a numbered heads together (NHT) cooperative learning model for class VIII A SMPN 1 Banjar Agung Lampung. This research method uses classroom action research. The research subjects were 25 students. The data collection technique in this study used tests, observation sheets and documentation. While the data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of the numbered heads together (NHT) cooperative learning model on the mathematical number pattern material improves student learning outcomes and activeness. Besides that, students' responses and attitudes towards cooperative learning of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type are positive. This is evident from the results of student journals, which show that learning mathematics is always interesting and fun. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa pada materi pola bilangan matematika melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipa numbered heads together (NHT) bagi siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 1 Banjar Agung Lampung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitiannya adalah sebanyak 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipa numbered heads together (NHT) pada materi pola bilangan matematika meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa. Disamping itu juga, respon dan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) positif. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil jurnal siswa, yang menunjukkan pembelajaran matematika selalu menarik dan menyenangkan.
