Abstract

 AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat reaksi pasar modal terhadap  peristiwa covid -19 diakhir  tahun 2019 di Indonesia yang disampaikan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui informasi terkait pelaporan pertama peristiwa COVID -19 di Indonesia, serta abnormal return, frekuensi perdagangan, dan aktivitas volume perdagangan sebelum dan saat  peristiwa. Pengamatan dimulai satu tahun  sebelum peristiwa dan satu tahun  saat  peristiwa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif .  menggunakan  sampel non acak atau purposive sampling  dengan jumlah 18  perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek indonesia.Menunjukkan bahwa pasar disetujui. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya hasil yang signifikan.  Hasil uji perbandingan perdagangan menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan yang berarti terjadi kepanikan pasar terhadap aktivitas perdagangan setelah peristiwa yang menyebabkan beberapa perbedaan frekuensi, sebelum dan setelah peristiwa dalam hal transaksi perdaganga.Kata Kunci:  Abnormal Rturn,Frekuensi Perdagangan saham,Aktivitas Volume Perdagangan , Studi Peristiwa  Abstract This study aims to look at the capital market reaction to the Covid-19 event at the end of 2019 in Indonesia which was conveyed by President Joko Widodo. The purpose of this study was to find out information related to the first reporting of COVID-19 events in Indonesia, as well as abnormal returns, trading frequency, and trading volume activity before and during the event. Observations began one year before the event and one year at the time of the event. This research uses quantitative research . using a non-random sample or purposive sampling with a total of 18 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Indicates that the market is approved. This is evidenced by the existence of significant results. The results of the trade comparison test show a significant difference which means that there is a market panic in trading activity after the event which causes some differences in frequency, before and after the event in terms of trading transactions.Keywords: : Abnormal Return, Trading Frequency,Tranding Volume Activity , Event Study
