Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kandang ayam penelitian Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Nusa Cendana selama 8 minggu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian larutan daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia) dalam air minum terhadap karkas dan lemak abdominal ayam broiler fase finisher. Penelitian ini menggunakan ayam broiler Day Old Chicks (DOC) strain CP 707 sebanyak 96 ekor. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Adapun ke 4 ransum perlakuan yang diberikan adalah: Air minum + 30 ml larutan daun binahong per liter air, R3 ; Air minum + 40 ml larutan daun binahong per liter air. Parameter yang diukur adalah bobot potong, persentase karkas, persentase non karkas dan lemak abdominal. Hasil analisis statistika menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) menurunkan persentase karkas dan meningkatkan persentase non karkas, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot potong dan lemak abdominal Kata kunci :Broiler, binahong, karkas, lemak abdominal. This study was conducted in the chicken house in Animal Husbandry Faculty of Nusa Cendana University for 8 weeks. The purpose of this study wasis to study the effect of adding binahong (Anredera cordifolia) leaves into drinking water on carcass and abdomial fat of finisher broiler. This study used 96 Day Old Chicks (DOC) strain CP 707. Trial method using completely randomized design 4 treatments with 6 replicates procedure was applied. The 4 treatmenst offered were: R0; drinking water without binahong leaves solution, R1; drinking water + 20 ml binahong leaves solution/l water, R2; drinking water + 30 ml binahong solution/l water, R3; drinking water + 40 ml binahong leaves solution/l water. The variabless measured were final weight, percentage of carcass, non carcass and abdominal fat.
