<![CDATA[This research investigates the effects of organic fertilizer from banana ares and cow dung on the growth and production of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor. Linn). Random Group Design (RGD) was used with the factorial pattern. This research has two (2) factors with 3 time of repetition. The first factor consists of three levels treatment: which is a doses of banana ares liquid organic fertilizer: 25 ml / 200 ml (P1, 50m/ 200ml (P2) and 75ml/ 200 ml (P3). The second factor: doses of cow dung fertilizer 250 gr (S1), 500 gr (S2) and 750 gr (S3). It can be concluded that the liquid organic fertilizer of banana ares and the cow dung can influence the red spinach growth namely can increase the number of leaves at the combination of liquid organic fertilizer 75ml/200 ml with the cow dung 500 gr. Further research about the doses of liquid organic fertilizer of banana ares and the cow dung are recommended.Key word: red spinach, banana ares, dung]]>
