<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah melalui Badan Koordinasi Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) adalah menjalankan program metode kontrasepsi terpilih meliputi IUD. Namun program tersebut masih belum berjalan dengan baik karena kurangnya promosi dan edukasi dari pelayanan kesehatan tentang IUD. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran factor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemilihan alat kontrasepsi Intra Uterine Device pada pasangan usia subur di Puskesmas Bandung Kulon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Deskriptif yang bertujuan menggambarkan secara sistematik dan akurat fakta tingkat pengetahuan akseptor IUD, Dukungan Suami, Dukungan Pelayanan Kesehatan, dan Usia Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS). Di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bandung Kolon, dengan sampel 39 responden PUS dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan rumus Prosentase. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa : Pengetahuan usia subur di walayah Bandung Kulon tergolong baik dengan prosentase sebagian besar 26 responden (66,6%).Oleh karena itu diharapkan bagi pihak Puskesmas khususnya puskesmas wilayah Bandung Kulon agar mengoptimalkan pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pasangan usia subur sebelum memilih alat kontrasepsi, sehingga PUS bisa memahami secara jelas mengenai Alat Kontrasepsi. ABSTRAK Efforts made by the government through the National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) is to run a program of contraceptive methods selected using an IUD. But the program is still not going well because of the promotion and education of health services about the IUD. This study discusses the factors related to the choice of intrauterine device contraception in suburban age couples at the Bandung Kulon Health Center. This research is a descriptive study that discusses systematic and accurate facts about the level of knowledge of IUD acceptors, husband's support, health service support, and EFA. In the working area of the Bandung Kolon Community Health Center, with a sample of 39 EFA respondents with a total sampling technique. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis uses the percentage formula. This study found that: Knowledge of suburban age in the Bandung Kulon area was good with the percentage of most 26 respondents (66.6%). Therefore, it is expected that Puskesmas specifically in the Bandung Kulon area will be able to improve the education of fertile age couples before choosing contraception, so that EFA can allow contraception.
