Abstract–Cocoa is one of Indonesia’s export commodities. In Sumatera Barat Province, the most potential region for cocoa production is Pasaman District. Unfortunatelly, in 2018 cocoa production in Pasaman showed a significant decrease. This research is conducted for finding out the cause of such decrease of cocoa production. The research was located in the village of Petok Selatan, Sub-district of Panti, Pasaman District. The data of this research is primary data where there are 115 questionnaires given directly to cocoa farmers in the village of Petok Selatan. The data having been obtained were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research shows that the factors of land area (x1), the amount of fertilizer (x3), the number of labor (x4), and the control of pests (x5) were the factors that most significantly influence cocoa production in the village of Petok Selatan, Sub-district of Panti, Pasaman District.Keywords–Cocoa, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Factor of Production.
