Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of motivation and performance of the employees of the Education and Culture Office of West Seram Regency, to find out and analyze how much influence work motivation from external and internal aspects has on the performance of the employees of the West Seram Regency Education and Culture Office. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The population in this study were all employees of the Education and Culture Office of West Seram Regency, totaling 42 employees, but only 30 samples were taken. Descriptive analysis of the research data uses the frequency value and the average score, while the hypothesis testing tool uses multiple linear regression Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that The condition of motivation and performance of the employees of the Department of Education and Culture of West Seram Regency is categorized as high but not yet optimal. Work motivation from external and internal aspects on the performance of the Education and Culture Office of West Seram Regency shows that there is a positive and significant influence with a contribution of 18.5%, which means that 81.5% of the performance of the West Seram Regency Education and Culture Office's employees is affected. by factors other than employee motivation.
