<![CDATA[Abstrak: Garuda Express Delivery adalah sebuah jasa layanan pengiriman udara door to door service. Sejak awal berdirinya GED telah memiliki komitmen yang tinggi untuk memberikan standar layanan yang sesuai dengan standar internasional untuk sebuah perusahaan courier dan cargo. Namun, biaya pengiriman yang tidak stabil berakibat kekalahan dalam bersaing. Disamping itu Ketepatan pengiriman barang ke pelanggan juga sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan. Untuk itu, diperlukan pemodelan yang tepat untuk masalah pengiriman barang pada GED yaitu dengan model transportasi dan teknik-teknik penyelesaian transportasi, sehingga biaya transportasi pengiriman barang dapat optimal. Metode pemecahan yang digunakan adalah metode barat laut, metode biaya terendah dan metode vogel, yang diterapkan ke dalam aplikasi POM-QM For Windows 5. Maka diperoleh hasil yaitu total biaya pengiriman barang ke beberapa kota tujuan yang optimal sebesar Rp.28.949.400,-.
