KESIAPAN GURU IPS MENGHADAPI PEMBELAJARAN BLENDED LEARNING MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (STUDI KASUS DI MTs. MADARIJUL HUDA KEMBANG, KABUPATEN PATI)

Abstract

Blended learning is a form of learning in schools that is carried out by mixing face-to-face learning and online learning. This type of learning is one solution to the unstable environmental conditions in Indonesia due to outbreak of the corona virus. This study aims to determine the readiness of social studies teachers with blended learning. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, the readiness of social studies teachers in dealing with blended learning is quite good. The results showed that: (1) social studies teachers in MTs. Madarijul Huda has carried out the process of learning planning stages which are summarized in the learning lesson plans. (2) there are obstacles in planning the implementation of distance learning, namely facilities and infrastructure constraints, as well as time constraints. (3) the implementation of distance learning based on blended learning combines face-to-face learning and online learning. Blended learning merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran di sekolah yang dilakukan dengan mencampurkan antara pembelajaran tatap muka dan pembelajaran dalam jaringan. Pembelajaran jenis ini menjadi salah satu solusi dari kondisi lingkungan di Negara Indonesia yang sedang tidak stabil karena mewabahnya virus corona. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan yang dilakukan oleh guru IPS dalam menghadapi pembelajaran berbasis blended learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kesiapan guru IPS dalam menghadapi pembelajaran blended learning sudah cukup baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) guru IPS di MTs. Madarijul Huda telah melakukan proses tahapan perencanaan pembelajaran yang terangkum dalam RPP pembelajaran. (2) terdapat kendala dalam perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh, yakni kendala sarana dan prasarana, serta keterbatasan waktu. (3) implementasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis blended learning memadukan antara pembelajaran tatap muka dan pembelajaran dalam jaringan.
