This happens because the learning method used is still using conventional learning methods, so the learning atmosphere often makes students bored, tends to be passive and difficult to invite to be more active, creative, and confident. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Token Economy method on learning outcomes and the The problem of low student learning outcomes in Social Science subjects at MTS NU 01 Tarub Tegal. This happens because the learning method used is still using conventional learning methods, so the learning atmosphere often makes students bored, tends to be passive and difficult to invite to be more active, creative, and confident. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Token Economy method on learning outcomes and the application of the Token Economy method in learning Social Sciences for class VIII E MTS NU 01 Tarub Tegal students. The type used in this research is quasi-experimental with purposive sampling technique Data collection techniques include using a test (multiple choice and essay) a total of 10 questions, observation, documentation. The data analysis technique used SPSS 25. The results of the on thethe two-sample test uses the T-test if tcount ttable. Then it can be seen that tcount ttable (0.476 > 0.000) at a significance of 0.05. This indicates that there is a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class so that the results of H0 are rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is an effect of using the Token Economy learning method on the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII E MTS NU 01 Tarub Tegal students. Permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di MTS NU 01 Tarub Tegal. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional, sehingga suasana belajar sering membuat siswa jenuh, cenderung pasif dan sulit diajak untuk lebih aktif, kreatif, dan percaya diri. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Token Ekonomi terhadap hasil belajar serta penerapan metode Token Ekonomi dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas VIII E MTS NU 01 Tarub Tegal. Jenis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data antara lain dengan menggunakan test (pilihan ganda dan essay) sejumlah 10 soal, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil dari penelitian pengujian dua sampel menggunakan uji-T jika thitung ≥ ttable. Maka dapat diketahui bahwa thitung ≥ ttable (0.476> 0.000) pada signifikasi 0, 05 menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikasi antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sehingga didapat hasil H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran Token Ekonomi terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII E MTS NU 01 Tarub Tegal.
