Abstract

Social change occurs as a result of influences from outside and within and this has a profound impact on society. However, social change does not always have a positive impact on society. It is the same as what was experienced by the Indonesian people where they had to endure a lot of suffering that led to death when the Japanese state controlled Indonesia. Of course this has greatly put the social condition of the people under pressure and will cause prolonged trauma due to the attitude of the Japanese military towards the Indonesian people.
