<![CDATA[Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui dan memahami bentuk tanggung jawab pihak pelaku usaha atas kerugian yang dialami konsumennya sesuai UU Perlindungan Konsumen yang terdapat di Indonesia serta perlindungan hukum terdahap kerugian yang dialami konsumen pada saat melaksanakan aktivitas jual-beli secara online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bentuk tanggung jawab pelaku usaha atas kerugian konsumennya adalah memberikan tanggung jawab dalam bentuk ganti rugi terhadap kegagalan produknya. Adapun perlindungan hukum untuk konsumen saat transaksi online yaitu perlindungan hukum yang diberikan oleh UU No. 19 tahun 2016 perubahan atas UU No. 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik dan juga diperkuat dengan UU No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen. This study aims to identify and understand the form of responsibility of business actors for losses suffered by consumers according to the Consumer Protection Act in Indonesia and legal protection against losses experienced by consumers when carrying out online buying and selling activities. This research uses normative legal research methods. The results of this study are a form of responsibility for business actors for consumer losses is to provide responsibility in the form of compensation for the failure of their products. The legal protection for consumers during online transactions is the legal protection provided by Law no. 19 of 2016 amendments to Law no. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and also strengthened by Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.]]>
