<![CDATA[One of the causes of maternal death in Indonesia is prolonged labour. This study aims to determine the relationship between the degree of anemia and prolonged labor in the delivery room at Prof. Hospital. Dr. W.Z. Johannes Kupang. The research subjects were mothers who were selected by purposive sampling method. The degree of anemia was measured through hemoglobin examination while the length of labor was measured using a partograph. The collected data were analyzed using the Fisher’s Exact test. The results of the hypothesis test showed a value of p = 0.046. Furthermore, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the degree of anemia and prolonged labor.Keywords: anemia; prolonged laborABSTRAK Salah satu penyebab kematian ibu di Indonesia adalah partus lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara derajat anemia dengan kategori partus lama di ruang bersalin RSUD Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang. Subyek penelitian adalah ibu yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Derajat anemia diukur memelalui pemeriksaan hemoglobin sedangkan partus lama diukur menggunakan partograf.
