<![CDATA[The novel Bumi Ayu tells how the community in a village called Bayan was affected by the expansion of oil palm plantations and fought back. This research will reveal the impact of oil palm plantation expansion on women and ecological conditions. Also, it aims to find the reactions of female characters to the expansion of oil palm plantations that are in line with the ecofeminism perspective of Vandana Shiva. The research method used in this research is a descriptive-analytic method. The material object of this research is the novel Bumi Ayu by Restiana Purwaningrum. Based on this research, the results of the research can be determined in the form of (1) the discovery of ecological damage around the oil palm plantation development company, namely contamination of air sources; (2) changes in the pattern of women's income sources; (3) resistance reactions from women leaders against the development of oil palm plantation companies. AbstrakNovel Bumi Ayu menceritakan bagaimana masyarakat di sebuah desa bernama Bayan terkena dampak dari ekspansi perkebunan kelapa sawit dan melakukan perlawanan. Penelitian ini akan mengungkap dampak dari ekspansi perkebunan kelapa sawit terhadap perempuan dan keadaan ekologi. Penelitian juga ingin menemukan reaksi tokoh perempuan terhadap ekspansi perkebunan kelapa sawit yang sejalan dengan perspektif ekofeminisme Vandana Shiva. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis. Objek material dari penelitian ini adalah novel Bumi Ayu karya Restiana Purwaningrum. Atas penelitian tersebut, dapat ditentukan hasil dari penelitian berupa (1) ditemukannya kerusakan ekologi di sekitar pembangunan perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit, yakni tercemarnya sumber air; (2) perubahan pola sumber nafkah perempuan; dan (3) reaksi perlawanan dari para tokoh perempuan terhadap pembangunan perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit.]]>
