<![CDATA[Tujuan studi ini untuk mengkaji pengaturan perlindungan hukum terhadap penggunaan Shopee Paylater dalam transaksi jual beli hukum berdasarkan perlindungan konsumen serta untuk mengkaji akibat hukum terhadap penggunaan Shopee Paylater dalam transaksi jual beli berdasarkan hukum perlindungan konsumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode normatif dengan cara deskriptif melalui pendekatan konseptual dan peraturan perundang-undangan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan mengenai perlindungan konsumen diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen Pasal 2, Pasal 3, Pasal 4, Pasal 5, Pasal 31, Pasal 33, serta Undang-Undang Nomor 13 tahun 2006 tentang Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban. Untuk pengaturan akibat hukum terhadap penggunaan Shopee Paylater diatur dalam Pasal 18 ayat (1) sampai dengan ayat (4), Pasal 45 ayat (4), UU Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen. The purpose of this study is to examine legal protection arrangements for the use of Shopee Paylater in legal buying and selling transactions based on consumer protection and to examine the legal consequences of the use of Shopee Paylater in buying and selling transactions based on consumer protection laws. The method used is a normative method in a descriptive way through conceptual approaches and laws and regulations. The results showed that the arrangements regarding consumer protection are regulated in Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection Article 2, Article 3, Article 4, Article 5, Article 31, Article 33, and Law No. 13 of 2006 concerning Witness and Victim Protection. For legal regulation of the use of Shopee Paylater is regulated in Article 18 paragraph (1) to paragraph (4), Article 45 paragraph (4), Article 62, Article 63 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.
