Abstract

This research aimed to give an overview of the examination results of the serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) levels of the participants of Indonesian Chronic Disease Management Program (PROLANIS) who suffered from hypertension at Kabila Health Center, District of Bone Bolango, Gorantalo. This research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research design used a cross sectional research design. The type of data used were primary data in the form of SGOT examination results on PROLANIS participants conducted at the Gorontalo Regional Health Laboratory and secondary data in the form of interviews using questionnaires obtained directly at the research location. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 23 participants of PROLANIS. The results showed that all samples of PROLANIS participants with hypertension at the Kabila Health Center in 2021 had normal or no increase in serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase levels.
