<![CDATA[Abstrak Penyerapan tenaga kerja menggambarkan besarnya jumlah pekerja di sektor ekonomi. Di kota/kabupaten Jawa Tengah terjadi ketidakstabilan dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja. Inkonsistensi terjadi karena banyak pekerja yang kualitasnya kurang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis UMK, pendidikan, jumlah penduduk berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di kota/kabupaten di Jawa Tengah. Metode analisis data menggunakan pendekatan OLS (Ordinary Least Square) dengan model fixed-effect. Jenis data penelitian adalah kombinasi cross-section dan time-series (data panel) di kota/kabupaten Jawa Tengah periode 2014-2019. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan pada uji-t (parsial) UMK berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, jumlah penduduk berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. In the cities or districts of Central Java, there is instability in labor absorption. Inconsistency occurs because many worker haven’t good quality. The purpose of this research is to analyze UMK, education, the population influenced labor absorption in the city or district of Central Java. The data analysis method used the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) approach with a fixed-effect model. The type of research data is a combination of cross-section and time-series (panel data) in the city or district of Central Java for the 2014-2019 periods. The conclusion of the research indicated the t-test (partial) UMK has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption, education does not affect labor absorption the population has a negative and significant on labor absorption.
