<![CDATA[The need for rice consumption is one of the important aspects to measure how much rice is needed to meet the consumption needs of the population in accordance with the existing population. This research was conducted to determine the need for rice consumption in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. With the results of research that rice production in Indonesia in 2021 which has been officially released by PBS is based on fixed figures (ATAP). The rice harvested area reaches about 10.41 million hectares with a production of 54.42 million tons of GKG, compared to the estimated annual consumption needs of 30.03 million tons. This shows that the need for rice consumption has met the standards in Indonesia. Kebutuhan konsumsi beras merupakan salah satu aspek penting untuk mengukur seberapa besar jumlah beras yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi penduduk sesuai dengan jumlah penduduk yang ada. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan konsumsi beras di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research. Dengan hasil penelitian bahwa produksi padi di indonesia 2021 yang telah di rilis resmi PBS berdasarkan angka tetap (ATAP). luas panen padi mencapai sekitar 10,41 juta hactare dengan produksi sebesar 54,42 juta ton GKG, dibandingkan perkiraan kebutuhan konsumsi setahun sebesar 30,03 juta ton. hal ini menunjukan bahwa kebutuhan konsumsi beras sudah memenuhi standar di Indonesia.]]>
