<![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the maintenance and conservation of library of Faculty of Letters and Culture Udayana University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. Population and sample in this research is the librarian. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Results from this study is the activity of preservation and maintenance of library materials in the library of Faculty of Letters and Culture Udayana University can be said has not run well, it is proven by the number of library materials was damaged. Maintenance activities and preservation of library materials and ways of prevention, maintenance, repair, preservation by the simple equipment means less attention. Librarians or the staff knows how library materials are damaged at the time of shelving and when visitors return the library materials.
