<![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of this study are to determine the policies, collection development, selection process, criteria of selection, procurement of collection, collection weeding and maintenance of the collection.The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. Object of this study in Udayana University Library. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study shows that most of the collections available at Udayana University Library have been inadequate. Based on the results of this study, the recommendation are that the collection development at Udayana University Library should be implemented to the fullest in order to supply all the information needed by the library users at Udayana University Library. The librarians at Udayana University Library should have more attention and better respond to the needs of users in the procurement process of the collection, so that the users' needs can be met.
