Sumbereja wetan village is located in ngunut district, tulungagung regency. The problem obtained is regarding the amount of shipping or distribution costs of production pos bags to UMKM. The method used in this problem is the Vogel 'Approximation Method (VAM) method, with the Quantitatif Management (QM) program. This method is used to manage distribution from sources that provide the same product, to several destinations that require optimal transportation. The results of this study showed that using the old method would cost more Rp. 46.330.000,-, whereas if you apply the transportation method using the VAM method/QM software, the cost is Rp. 39,220,000,-. So that the VAM method with QM software is more effective and can save shipping costs as much as 18%.
