This study aims to analyze and prove that communication and control affect employee performance through motivation as a mediating variable in the Savings and Loans Unit (USP) KUD Tani Jaya. Therefore, employees have a crucial role in the company or organization as a driver of success in achieving goals. This type of research is quantitative, with primary and secondary data supported by data through questionnaires distributed to a sample of 55 respondents. The data analysis technique used Inferential Statistics and Partial Least Square (PLS) methods. The results of this study indicate that the communication and controlling variables significantly positively affect employee performance. The communication and control variables have a significant positive effect on motivation. Motivation also has a significant positive impact on employee performance. This study also shows a partial test, namely that communication significantly positively affects performance and is mediated by motivation. Controlling has a significant positive effect on performance and is mediated by motivation.
