RESPON FISIOLOGI TANAMAN KEDELAI (GLICINE MAX L.) TERHADAP IMBANGAN PUPUK UREA DAN KOMPOS BAGASSE AREN PADA BERBAGAI JENIS TANAH

Abstract

Field research was conducted to obtain a balanced dose of urea fertilizer and sugar palm bagasse compost which gave the best physiological response to soybean plants on four types of soil. The study used a 5 x 4 factorial treatment design arranged in CRD (Completely Randomized Design). The first factor is the ratio of doses of Urea fertilizer and sugar palm bagasse compost with five levels, namely 100% + 0%; 75% + 25%; 50% + 50%; 25% + 75%, and 0% + 100%, while the second factor is the type of soil consisting of 4 levels, namely regosol soil, grumusol, latosol, and beach sand, so there are 20 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination unit is repeated three times, and each treatment unit consists of 3 sample plants and two sacrificial plants. The results showed that giving Urea offset by 25 – 75% of sugar palm bagasse compost provides a better physiological response than N supply with Urea or only sugar palm bagasse compost. The growth of soybean plants on latosol and grumusol soils was higher than on regosol soilsINTISARIPenelitian lapangan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan  imbangan dosis pupuk urea dan kompos bagasse aren yang memberikan respon fisiologis  tanaman kedelai  terbaik pada empat jenis tanah. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan perlakuan factorial 5 x 4 yang disusun dalam RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap). Faktor  pertama adalah imbangan dosis pupuk Urea dan kompos bagasse  aren dengan 5 aras yaitu 100 % + 0 % ; 75 % + 25 % ; 50 % + 50 % ; 25 % + 75 % dan 0 % + 100 %, sedangkan factor ke dua adalah jenis tanah terdiri atas 4 aras yaitu  tanah regosol, grumusol, latosol dan pasir pantai, sehingga terdapat 20 kombinasi perlakuan, dan masing-masing unit kombinasi perlakuan diulang 3 kali, setiap unit perlakuan terdiri 3 tanaman sampel dan 2 tanaman korban. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa  pemberian Urea yang diimbangi kompos bagasse aren 25 – 75 % memberikan respon fisiologi lebih baik dibandingkan suplai N dengan Urea atau kompos bagasse aren saja. Pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai pada tanah latosol dan grumusol lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada tanah regosol.
