Ahmad Jubaidi, S.Sos , M.Si as supervisor II. This research was conducted on the basis of the large potential of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to have a strategic role in the development of the national economy.This research also aims to find out the strategies implemented by the Kersik village government, and aims to determine the driving factors and inhibiting factors in the development of MSMEs in the Kersik village.This research uses descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at the Kersik Village Office, Marangkayu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The analysis used in this study uses a SWOT analysis. The focus of this research includes Financial Capability Improvement Strategies, Marketing Development Strategies, Human Resources Development Strategies, Regulatory and Control Strategies. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation.Based on the results of the study, of the four strategies the most dominant strategy to use is the Human Resource Development Strategy, the Kersik Village Government, Marangkayu District makes it a reference for the development of MSMEs in Kersik Village, in carrying out a plan, knowledge and community insight are needed, in order to be able to innovate. in issuing flagship products in order to compete with other companies in the era of globalization.]]>
