<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the use of social media on the psychological development of elementary school children. The purpose of this research is to describe the impact of using social media as an alternative for children's learning. This study uses literature review and analysis of scientific references related to the theme of the influence of social media on psychological development in elementary school children. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents and educators is very important, because that way they can supervise their children at home. Not only parents can supervise children, but educators at school must also supervise students. And also as parents, they should limit cellphones to children, for example every 4 hours so that children don't play social media or other things too often. Because control from educators and parents must be there for every child's development.]]>
