Background: After the postoperative client has complaints that recur, such as pain. It should immediately carry out post-surgical care after the patient is operated on in order to minimize discomfort after surgery. Post-surgical care does not only focus on the organs that have been operated on, but also the client's overall health. Reducing pain intensity through relaxation techniques with finger grip relaxation. The intensity of pain after surgery can be done in an easy and simple way, namely the relaxation technique of holding the fingers by anyone related to the fingers and the flow of energy in the body.Research Target: Knowing the effectiveness abaout application of finger grip relaxation to reducing pain in postoperative Sectio Caesarea.Method: The research uses a nursing care model that focuses on problems described in a complete nursing care approach, namely through assessment, identification of diagnoses and actual problems, preparation of nursing plans, implementation, and evaluating. There were 4 patients in this studyResults of Research All postoperative sectio caesarea patients experienced moderate pain before being given hand-held relaxation. All postoperative sectio caesarea patients after being given finger grip relaxation experienced a decrease in pain to mild pain.Suggestion: All postoperative sectio caesarea patients before being given finger grip relaxation experience moderate pain and after being given finger grip relaxation experience a decrease in pain to mild pain
