<![CDATA[The name "Genesis" means "the origin, source, creation or beginning of something. The focus of this textual research refers to the character of Moses as the author. Analysis of the texts in Genesis chapter 1 shows a patron that is not found in other religious concepts. the text in Genesis chapter 1 regarding creation aims to correlate the substance of God's divinity in the process of creation. This research uses a thematic and descriptive qualitative approach to obtain comprehensive reasoning on the text of Genesis chapter 1. This study concludes that the role of God in creation essentially leads to the theological basis that God who is not limited in space and time. Abstrak Nama "Kejadian" berarti "asal mula, sumber, penciptaan atau awal dari sesuatu. Fokus penelitian tekstual ini menunjuk kepada tokoh Musa sebagai penulis. Analisis teks-teks dalam kejadian pasal 1 menunjukkan patron yang tidak ditemukan dalam konsep agama lain. Kajian penelitian teks-teks dalam kejadian pasal 1 perihal penciptaan bertujuan menkorelasikan substasi keilahian Allah dalam proses penciptaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tematis serta deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendapatkan penalaran yang komprehensif terhadap teks Kejadian pasal 1. Penelitian ini menyim-pulkan bahwa peran Allah dalam penciptaan pada hakikatnya mengarah kepada landasan teologis bahwa Allah yang tidak terbatas dalam ruang dan waktu.]]>
