The overland function or land conversion is a change in the function of a part or whole land area of its original function (as planned) into another function that becomes a negative impact (problem) on the environment and potential land itself. The study aims to analyze changes in land cover over five years with the image of Landsats 8 of 2014 and 2019 as well as analyze the changes in land cover in the Limited Production Forest Area in Kulawi Subdistrict. The study used guided image analysis (supervised). land cover classes in the restricted production forest area of Kulawi Subdistrict of Sigi Regency, in the form of primary forest, secondary forest, and scrub changing in extent or increasing in extent. Whereas plantations, open land, clouds, and bodies of water change their extent or decrease their extent. This change is an impact of the activities made by the communities in the forest area. results of accuracy tests or rigor of satellite imagery-losing results by guided classification (Supervised) methods have a thoroughness rate of 88.89%.
