<![CDATA[The Aceh Qanun Number 9 of 2008 in Article 13 paragraph (1) states that the fostering of traditional life and customs states that customary disputes / disputes can be resolved through adat courts. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of opat mediation in completing divorce in mediation in Kampung Deputy Jalil, Bintang District, Central Aceh Regency. This type of research used in this study is field research with a descriptive approach, which is a research method that explains the results in accordance with what is happening that is describing a situation or event that actually happened in the field. The results obtained are the role of Sarak Opat as a decision maker in Kampung Deputy Jalil to seek peace in divorce cases optimally, peace in divorce disputes has a very high value, with the achievement of peace between husband and wife in divorce disputes, the integrity of marriage ties can be saved.]]>
