<![CDATA[One of the critical things in handling children is the parent's parenting style. This parenting style is very attentive and attentive to children. Caregiving requires several interpersonal skills and emotional tolls, but very little formal education can handle these tasks. Mesut's parents learned parenting practices from their parents. This research aims to determine parental parenting patterns for children aged 4-6. The design used in this research is cross-sectional correlation. This study's population was mothers with children aged 4 - 6 years, and a sample of 50 shamans was taken using total sampling techniques. The Kiwanta data observation technique uses questionnaires and observations, while the Kiwanta data analysis uses the analysis coefficient test. This research shows that most parents' parenting patterns are overprotective, namely 29 respondents (58%). The application of overprotective parenting can include the task of feeding children. To minimize the negative impact of this parenting style, parents can use authoritative parenting to accommodate children's tasks according to their age.
