Hubungan Berat Badan Lahir dengan Pertumbuhan Bayi di TPMB Isnaningsih, S.Tr.Keb Kabupaten Semarang: The Relationship Between Birth Weight And Infant Growth At Tpmb Isnaningsih, S.Tr.Keb Semarang District In 2022
The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is an indicator to determine the health status of a country throughout the world. IMR in Indonesia is still very high, according to the results of the Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (SDKI) that IMR in Indonesia in 2021 was 27,566 deaths, a decrease compared to 2020, which was 28,158 deaths. Of all infant deaths, 73.1% of them occurred in the neonatal period (20,154 deaths). The most common causes of neonatal death in 2021 are Low Birth Weight (LBW) conditions of 34.5% and asphyxia of 27.8%. Birth weight can be an indicator to see survival and growth. Birth weight is the baby's weight in the first 1 (one) hour after birth. The baby's weight is determined by the nutritional status of the fetus. The research method in this study is to use an observational analytic design, and use a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all newborns from May-November 2022. The total sample was 60 people. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used was the newborn register book. The results of this study of the 40 respondents, there were normal birth weights with 66.7% results from univariate analysis. Based on the results of bivariate analysis with the chi square test, it was obtained a significant value with a value of p = 0.000
