Abstract

Diabetes Self-Management sangat diperlukan dalam pengelolaan diet DM akan tetapi kemampuan individu dalam mengelola kehidupan sehari-hari, mengendalikan serta mengurangi dampak penyakit yang dideritanya dikenal dengan Self-Management diperlukan dalam pengendalian DM. Self-Management memungkinkan pasien untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah dan meningkatkan keyakinan diri (self-efficacy). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan diabetes Self-Management dengan tingkat stres pasien diabetes melitus yang menjalani diet. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 6 s/d 12 Juni 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini penderita Diabetes Mellitus di Desa Rukoh dengan total sampling yaitu sebanyak 30 orang. Pengumpulan data mengggunakan data primer. Analisis menggunakan SPSS, teknik analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh terdapat hubungan pengetahuan (p=0,034) dan diabetes Self-management (p=0,012) dengan tingkat stres pasien diabetes melitus yang menjalani Diet di Desa Rukoh.Kata kunci: Pengetahuan, Self-Management, Tingkat Stress, Diabetes MellitusDiabetes Self-Management is very necessary in the management of DM diet but the individual's ability to manage daily life, control and reduce the impact of the disease known as Self-Management is needed in controlling DM. Self-Management allows patients to develop skills in solving problems and increase self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and diabetes SelfManagement with the stress level of diabetes mellitus patients who are on a diet. This type of research is descriptive correlation with cross sectional study approach. Data collection was carried out on 6 to 12 June 2022. The population in this study was people with Diabetes Mellitus in Rukoh Village with a total sampling of 30 people. Data collection using primary data. Analysis using SPSS, univariate and bivariate analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p=0.034) and diabetes Self-Management (p=0.012) with the stress level of diabetes mellitus patients undergoing diet in Rukoh Village. The data concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge and diabetes Self-Management with the stress level of diabetes mellitus patients.Keywords : Knowledge, Self-Management, Stress Level, Diabetes Mellitus
