Abstract One of the mechanisms developed by the government to assist the implementation of good governance is SAKIP. The successful implementation of SAKIP shows how successful and efficient the government is in achieving good governance. One government agency that has implemented SAKIP is the Diskominfo service in Ciamisa Regency. The purpose of this study was to assess the performance of Sakip or the Performance Accountability System for Ciamis Regency Government Agencies. Data collection methods for this study include a descriptive descriptive approach and library research. Based on the findings of the study, SAKIP has been implemented in a more complete, consistent and successful manner within the Ciamis District Communication and Information Service every year. However, the main efforts of the Ciamis Regency Diskominfo are still not supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure. In addition, improving human resource standards that can improve the performance of the Ciamis Regency Diskominfo also needs to be improved. Keywords: Government Agency Performance Monitoring System, Effectiveness, Communication, Information Services Abstrak Salah satu mekanisme yang dikembangkan pemerintah untuk membantu pelaksanaan good governance adalah SAKIP. Keberhasilan implementasi SAKIP menunjukkan betapa sukses dan efisiennya pemerintah mencapai good governance. Salah satu instansi pemerintah yang telah menerapkan SAKIP adalah layanan Diskominfo di Kabupaten Ciamisa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kinerja SAKIP atau Sistem Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah Kabupaten Ciamis. Metode pengumpulan data untuk penelitian ini meliputi pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan temuan studi tersebut, SAKIP telah dilaksanakan secara lengkap, konsisten, dan sukses di lingkungan Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Ciamis setiap tahunnya. Namun upaya berkelanjutan Diskominfo Kabupaten Ciamis masih belum didukung sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Selain itu, peningkatan standar sumber daya manusia yang dapat menunjang kinerja Diskominfo Kabupaten Ciamis juga perlu ditingkatkan.
