Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediator at the Sidemen district public health center (Puskesmas). The population in this study were all 69 employees at the Sidemen sub-district health center. So the sampling method is the census method. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a variance-based structural equation model or component based structural equation model, known as the Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that 1) Organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Sidemen District Public Health Center (Puskesmas). 2) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Sidemen District Public Health Center (Puskesmas). 3) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at the Sidemen District Public Health Center (Puskesmas). 4) Organizational commitment is able to mediate the influence of motivation on employee performance at the Sidemen District Community Health Center (Puskesmas).
