<![CDATA[The objectives of this study are: (1) What is the strategic role of Instagram @soppenginfo in disseminating information in Soppeng Regency? (2) How is the @soppenginfo information dissemination system so that it can become a medium of information in Soppeng Regency?. This research lasted for 1 month and is located in Soppeng Regency. The informants in this study were 15 students with different backgrounds and were the people of Soppeng Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interview techniques. The results of this study found that 1. The @_soppenginfo_ account was very helpful for followers in meeting their information needs about events in Soppeng Regency. By conveying information that is easy to understand, @_soppenginfo_'s strategy is not only to inform but also to educate and entertain his followers or followers. 2. In the information system, @_soppenginfo_ provides information, education and entertainment faster than other media, which they can get right away if they follow the @_soppenginfo_ account. With photo and video content flavored with captions so that the people of Soppeng Regency can easily understand and find out what is happening in their area, they can even connect to the rest of the world just by looking at the information published by @_soppenginfo_]]>
