<![CDATA[Background: The Covid-19 vaccination is the government's effort to suppress the growth of the corona virus, which is carried out in stages, targeting almost whole public. Objective: The purpose of this research was to determine the level of public knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine in Lorong Talang Padang, Pasar district, Tebing Tinggi city, Empat Lawang regency, South Sumatra province. Methods: This research is descriptive research with purposive sampling method using 76 respondents who meet the inclusion criteria with a test question instrument. Results: The results showed that people who have good knowledge are 67.1% and people who have sufficient knowledge are 32.89%. This research has six indicators, good public knowledge on indicators of general knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine which is 94.90%, the benefits and objectives of the Covid-19 vaccination 91.22%, side effects of the Covid-19 vaccine, which is 90.13%, and location the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination is 97.36%. The public's knowledge is sufficient on the indicator of the criteria for the recipient of the Covid-19 vaccine, which is 62.17% and the public's knowledge is lacking on the indicator of the dose of the Covid-19 vaccine with a percentage of 10.52%. Conclusion: The level of public knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine in Lorong Talang Padang, Pasar district, Tebing Tinggi city, Empat Lawang regency, South Sumatra province is classified as good with a percentage of 67.1%.]]>
